Soda Blonde brings their atmospheric Irish alt-pop to Union Stage in Washington, DC, on September 17, 2026. The Dublin four-piece—formed in 2019 by vocalist Faye O’Rourke, guitarist and keyboardist Adam O’Regan, bassist Donagh Seaver-O’Leary, and drummer Dylan Lynch—rose from the ashes of the acclaimed indie rock outfit Little Green Cars. Their sound marks a deliberate shift toward a bolder, more cinematic and emotionally charged style, weaving O’Rourke’s expressive vocals with adventurous, genre-defying production that balances introspection with ambition. Debut single “Swimming Through the Night” introduced their signature atmospheric grooves and cinematic hooks, and their first album *Small Talk* (2021) earned a Choice Music Prize nomination. The follow-up, *Dream Big* (2023), expanded their sonic range, while the 2025 *People Pleaser* EP and a live orchestral collaboration with the National Symphony Orchestra at Dublin’s National Concert Hall—captured in both a concert film and live album—cemented their reputation as one of Ireland’s most compelling contemporary acts.
