Beethoven's Ninth: New Year's Celebration
On Saturday, January 2, 2027, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra presents “Beethoven’s Ninth: New Year’s Celebration” at the Music Center at Strathmore. Guest conductor Peter Oundjian leads the orchestra, four vocal soloists, and the Baltimore Choral Arts Society in a program built around Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony, whose “Ode to Joy” finale carries an uplifting message of hope, unity, and shared humanity.
