About the Comics: Rahmein Mostafavi is a DC-area stand-up with over a decade of live performance experience, formerly a cast member of the Kennedy Center’s long-running improv show “Shear Madness.” He has performed at multiple comedy festivals, appeared on FOX and Sirius XM, and presented at TEDx Talks. Dana Fleitman is a D.C.-based comedienne known for her witty observations on everyday life, host of the DC Improv’s quarterly pun contest PUN DMV, and co-founder of the Just Kidding Comedy Collective; she also created a stand-up incubator for underrepresented genders. Apple Brown Betty brings a polished Southern style from Richmond, Virginia, and was selected as a Rising Star of Comedy by Bob Sumner, the producer of Def Comedy Jam. Randy Syphax is a nationally recognized stand-up who has appeared on The Tonight Show, in The New York Times, and at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, and was named one of Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch. Host Chris White has been a fixture of the D.C. comedy scene for more than a decade, running dcstandup.com and producing several regular comedy series at the DC Improv, including Make Up Party, Comedy Kumite, and Pun DMV.
