Abby Jeanne & The Shadowband

Abby Jeanne & The Shadowband is a New York City indie, garage, and soul band led by frontwoman Abby Jeanne. Formed in 2024, the project draws on Jeanne’s upbringing in Milwaukee, where theatrical family influences and a rock-and-roll café environment shaped her musical sensibility.

The band combines powerful, soulful vocals with gritty, atmospheric instrumentation influenced by garage rock, surf, soul, psychedelia, and the Velvet Underground. Jeanne’s songs explore heartbreak, mystery, rebellion, and youthful dreams through a spellbinding, retro-minded sound.
