Bluebelt (EP Release Show)
Bluebelt marks the release of its debut EP with a live original set at Songbyrd Music House. The six-piece DC band developed its sound through early rehearsals in a drummer’s converted sunroom-bedroom and a mix of longtime friendships and connections from the local music scene. Their performance is presented as the main attraction, emphasizing the group’s chemistry, energy, and passion onstage.
The bill also features Maryland indie rock quintet Lookout and University of Maryland-formed band The Overlook. Lookout combines intimate, reflective passages with louder, more forceful indie rock, while The Overlook’s original songs range from energetic rockers to wistful material.

Supporting acts: Lookout and The Overlook
Lookout: Lookout is a five-piece Maryland indie rock band led by vocalist Kate Pass. The group draws on contemporary indie influences such as Flipturn and The Backseat Lovers, pairing expressive guitar work and introspective lyrics with a driving rhythm section. Lookout released its debut EP, *All We Have*, in December 2025, followed by the single “Cool It” on July 17. The band has performed extensively around the DC and Maryland area.
The Overlook: Formed at the University of Maryland in 2024, The Overlook features Patrick Scott on vocals and guitar, Ryan Jaikeran on bass, Aditya Krishnamoorthy on drums, and Connor Kennedy and Sean Wells on guitar. After beginning with cover shows in Baltimore-area dive bars, the band developed an original repertoire that includes high-energy songs such as “The Raven On The Wall” and more wistful pieces such as “October.” Their performances have taken them to venues including Pearl Street Warehouse in Washington, DC, and Baltimore’s Ottobar.
