Foundations and Futures: The Driskell Center and the Black Art Archive

Foundations and Futures: The Driskell Center and the Black Art Archive is the David C. Driskell Center’s 25th Anniversary Symposium, bringing together scholars, artists, archivists, curators, and cultural leaders for a two-day examination of Black art archives. Discussions will consider how institutional archives, collections, and museums preserve and interpret Black art histories, shape cultural memory, and address the ongoing challenges of collecting Black art.
