Inside the Phillips Archive is an intimate Living Room conversation led by Juli Folk, Head of Archives, Library & Digital Resources at The Phillips Collection. The program offers a behind-the-scenes exploration of the museum’s archival publications and facsimiles, including the rare publications, artist files, exhibition catalogues, and historical records preserved by the Library & Archives.

The discussion will examine how archival materials connected to Duncan and Marjorie Phillips document the development of America’s first museum of modern art. Folk will also discuss how these resources are researched, preserved, and made available to researchers and the public.

Speaker Background: Folk has more than 20 years of experience in corporate and nonprofit settings. She holds a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Maryland–College Park and a bachelor’s degree in English Literature with a minor in art history from The College of William & Mary.
