Unearthing Foundations, Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibition

Unearthing Foundations is a Hispanic Heritage Month exhibition featuring Latinx and Hispanic artists from the DMV region. The exhibition considers how personal and cultural histories shape the future, exploring the ways place, family, rituals, and nature accumulate as layers in an ongoing timeline.

Curated by Washington, D.C.-based mixed-media artist Rebecca Perez, founder of Tendrils journal, the exhibition invites visitors to consider which parts of their histories they preserve and which they let go.
