Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica, a major figure in Washington’s salsa scene, brings his energetic live show to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. The percussionist and vocalist performs salsa standards with a rotating group of accomplished musicians, inviting guests to dance to salsa, bachata, merengue, and more.

Born in Central America, Mojica began performing at a young age and has worked with renowned artists including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto. His performance moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while he sings in a passionate, romantic style.
