Jazz in the Gardens 2026

Jazz in the Gardens returns to Hillwood for its sixth summer with two outdoor jazz evenings featuring Marshall Keys and musicians from the Washington, D.C., area. The series is presented by executive producer Donna Limerick and takes place amid Hillwood’s gardens.

The September 9 program, “An Evening with Two Saxophone Titans,” features Carr/Keys, a collaboration between saxophonists Paul Carr and Marshall Keys. The September 16 program, “A Tribute to Nat King Cole,” honors the late singer with vocalist Phillip Manuel and saxophonist Marshall Keys. Before either concert, guests can explore the mansion, gardens, greenhouse, the exhibition *Interwoven: A Tradition of Textiles* in the Adirondack building, the museum shop, and Merriweather To Go.

Showtimes: Both performances run from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.
