Creative Development Series: Make Your Halloween Glow!
Creative Development Series: Make Your Halloween Glow! is a hands-on workshop for creating a light-up Halloween costume, wearable item, or mask. Participants can begin with clothing or a traditional paper-bag mask, then decorate it with easy-to-use electroluminescent wire or learn to build their own lighting with copper tape. Materials and instruction are provided, and no electronics experience is needed.
The event is part of a creative collaboration involving the Institute for Creative, Arts, and Technology at Virginia Tech, Expressions at Amazon Arlington, and the City of Alexandria’s Office of the Arts.

Showtimes: 7:00 p.m.–9:30 p.m.
Tickets: Free
Registration: Registration is required.
Ages: Open to everyone ages 16 and up.
Activities: Create a glowing Halloween costume, wearable piece, or mask using electroluminescent wire, with the option to learn copper-tape wiring for custom lights.
Materials: Materials and guidance are provided.
Experience: No prior electronics experience is required.
