Coco Smith, Flo Petite, Ethan McNeal, and Aiden Cramp share a singer-songwriter and indie-pop bill at Rhizome DC. Coco Smith creates what she calls “workshop music” in New York City. Her folk-rock album *You Won’t Get My Message but You’ll Hear It* was released by VHS Sounds in June. Washington, DC-based Flo Petite makes unconventional indie-pop for “degenerates, dog lovers and anyone prone to an existential crisis,” drawing from house-show performances and touring. Maryland singer-songwriter Ethan McNeal makes tunes, jams, and “jellies,” while Oklahoma singer-songwriter Aiden Cramp completes the lineup.
