The Friday Noon Concert Series presents Salon Trio in an intimate chamber music performance with clarinetist Robert DiLutis, saxophonist Noah Getz, and pianist Mary-Victoria Voutsas. The program is designed to connect the music with personal stories and background about the composers and works, continuing Salon Trio’s tradition of informal, close-up concerts for audiences in the Washington area.

The artists have performed together for more than five years through Salon Concerts, which are often hosted in private homes and followed by receptions that encourage conversation between performers and guests. The concert’s specific program had not yet been announced.

About the artists: Robert DiLutis is a University of Maryland clarinet professor and principal clarinetist of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra. His recordings appear on the Delos, RM Records, and Tonsehen labels.

About the artists: Noah Getz, a musician-in-residence at American University, has performed and lectured internationally. His playing has been recognized for its virtuosity, sensitivity, adventurousness, and expressive tone.

About the artists: Mary-Victoria Voutsas is a visiting artist in residence for the Wolf Trap Center for the Performing Arts. She has toured extensively, appeared at venues including the Kennedy Center, and has been praised for her powerful and engaging piano performances.
