Visionary Evenings with Fashion Designer Patricia Michaels

Visionary Evenings presents an evening conversation with acclaimed Taos Pueblo fashion designer Patricia Michaels, whose Native American-inspired haute couture has appeared at New York Fashion Week, the Santa Fe Indian Market, the Santa Fe Opera, museums, and fashion shows worldwide. Arts Club member and choreographer Dana Tai Soon Burgess will interview Michaels about her career and creative work.

Michaels became nationally known as a contestant on season 11 of *Project Runway*, where she finished as first runner-up, and later returned for *Project Runway All Stars*. She recently designed a red-carpet gown for actor Tantoo Cardinal, who wore it at the Cannes Film Festival premiere of Martin Scorsese’s *Killers of the Flower Moon*.

When: Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Showtimes: Cocktails are served from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.; the conversation and program run from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.; and a coffee and dessert reception follows from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Lineup: Patricia Michaels, fashion designer, in conversation with Dana Tai Soon Burgess, Arts Club member and interviewer.

Tickets: $20 for Arts Club members and $30 for non-members.
