Don Juan & Stories in Sound

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of vivid musical storytelling led by Music Director Jonathon Heyward. The program moves from the dramatic orchestral portrait of Don Juan by Richard Strauss to Ravel’s Shéhérazade, in which mezzo-soprano Fleur Barron portrays a storyteller whose survival depends on suspenseful tales, and concludes with Berlioz’s Harold in Italy, featuring principal violist Lisa Steltenpohl.
