Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group Meetup

Hyattsville Figure Drawing Group Meetup is a relaxed, informal drop-in drawing session for artists of all experience levels. The group holds Tuesday sessions with a live nude model and extended drawing poses, as well as third-Saturday sessions featuring clothed or costumed models and a series of shorter poses.

The September 29 session is scheduled for Tuesday evening. Participants should bring their own art supplies; chairs and drawing boards are provided, and advance registration is not required.

When: September 29, 6:00–9:00 pm

Schedule: Weekly Tuesdays from 6:00–9:00 pm with a nude model and long poses; third Saturdays from 2:00–5:00 pm with a clothed or costumed model and short poses

Tuesday Sessions: Each session includes several brief warm-up poses followed by one sustained pose lasting for the remainder of the session. Tuesday sessions are restricted to attendees ages 18 and older.

Saturday Sessions: Saturday gatherings feature a clothed or costumed model and a sequence of short poses lasting approximately 2–25 minutes. All ages are welcome.

Tickets: $20 per session; $75 for a five-session punch card; $15 per session for Pyramid Atlantic members

Ages: Ages 18 and older for Tuesday nude-model sessions; all ages for third-Saturday clothed or costumed-model sessions

What to Bring: Attendees should bring their own drawing materials. Drawing boards and chairs are available.

Registration: No registration is required, and all skill levels are welcome.
