Canadian Brass returns to George Mason University’s Center for the Arts with a holiday-themed program titled Making Spirits Bright, blending virtuosity, spontaneity, and humor. The ensemble, praised by *The Washington Post* for its “unbeatable blend” and by the *Toronto Star* for making “even greater cause for celebration,” will perform original arrangements and signature takes on seasonal classics such as “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” and “Christmastime is Here.” With more than 130 albums and over 600 works transcribed, arranged, or commissioned, these globetrotting musicians have created a distinctive musical world that appeals to audiences of all ages.

When: Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

Showtimes: One performance only, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $70, $60, $45 (prices include fees); half-price for youth through Grade 12. A limited quantity of free student tickets is available, released two Tuesdays prior to the event.

Run time: Approximately 90 minutes, plus one intermission.

Ages: This performance is appropriate for all ages.

Venue: Center for the Arts, Concert Hall, George Mason University Fairfax Campus.

Pre-performance: A pre-performance discussion begins one hour before the show, at 6:30 p.m.
