Sunday Storytime

Join Planet Word Museum for Sunday Storytime, a free monthly literacy program designed for young children ages 2 to 6 and their caregivers. This playful morning features songs and read-alouds led by children’s librarians from the DC Public Library, followed by hands-on activities and the opportunity to explore the museum. After storytime, families can stop by the pop-up DC Public Library wagon to check out children’s books using their library cards. WAMU 88.5 is the proud media sponsor.

When: Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Venue: Planet Word Museum, Classroom B.

Tickets: Free; registration includes general admission to the museum. No price listed beyond free admission.

Ages: Recommended for children ages 2–6.

Lineup: Presented by children’s librarians from the DC Public Library.
