Dance Gala

George Mason University’s School of Dance presents Dance Gala, the centerpiece event of the George Mason Dance Company’s performance season. Held in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall on the Fairfax Campus, this showcase blends ballet, modern, and contemporary dance in a single program. The performers are student dancers at the threshold of their professional careers, and the evening features works by internationally recognized choreographers, making it a standout moment in the university’s dance calendar.

The program will be announced closer to performance dates, with full details available digitally the week of the event. The production offers multiple performances across the two-day run, with matinee and evening options on Friday and an evening performance on Saturday.

When: Friday, February 26, and Saturday, February 27, 2027.

Showtimes: Friday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets: $40 for adults; $30 for students, staff, and seniors; $20 for groups. Individual tickets go on sale August 4, 2026, and subscribers who choose three or more performances save 15% on the 2026–27 season.
