She Wants Revenge
She Wants Revenge brings its dark-alternative, gothic dance sound to 9:30 Club, joined by Rosegarden Funeral Party. The duo of Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin first gained widespread attention with “Tear You Apart,” then built a devoted international following through their emotionally charged songwriting, sleek production, and post-punk and goth influences.
The group’s history includes tours with Bloc Party, The Kills, OK Go, Depeche Mode, The Psychedelic Furs, and Placebo; a co-headlining run with Peter Murphy; and a Coachella appearance alongside Daft Punk. After an indefinite hiatus, She Wants Revenge reunited in 2016 for the 10th anniversary of its debut album and has since returned to extensive touring. The current revival includes a new song, work on a long-awaited fourth album, and a revamped live lineup.

Background: She Wants Revenge formed as a production partnership creating music for club DJs and released its self-titled debut album in 2005. Subsequent releases included *This Is Forever*, *Save Your Soul*, *Up and Down*, and *Valleyheart*. The band’s profile rose again after “Tear You Apart” appeared in the premiere of *American Horror Story*, introducing its music to a new generation. In 2024, the group reached 2.5 million monthly listeners on streaming platforms, while a song from *Up and Down* gained renewed popularity through TikTok.
