UMoves

UMoves is a vibrant, celebratory dance showcase presented by the UMD School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. The program brings together a varied mix of new works of art in motion, all choreographed by student choreographers, offering audiences a lively and diverse evening of contemporary dance. Presented in the Dance Theatre at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, the event runs over a long weekend with four performances in total, including both evening and matinee showtimes.

When: Friday, May 7, 2027 through Sunday, May 9, 2027.
Showtimes: Friday, May 7 at 7:30 pm; Saturday, May 8 at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm; Sunday, May 9 at 2:00 pm.
Tickets: Regular admission is $30 plus a $5 booking fee; students and youth tickets are $10.
Venue: Dance Theatre, The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center.
Admission: General admission seating.
Accessibility: The Clarice offers wheelchair accessible seating, size-inclusive seating, large print programs, assisted listening devices, adult and child-friendly sensory packs, and quiet spaces upon request for all events. ASL interpretation, audio description, and captioning are available for select events or by patron request at least six weeks in advance.
