Alfredo Mojica Group

Alfredo Mojica, a foundational figure in Washington’s salsa scene, brings his percussion and vocals to Bossa Bistro & Lounge. Born in Central America, Mojica began performing at an early age and has shared the stage with artists including Celia Cruz, Eddie Palmieri, Willie Colón, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Rich, El Gran Combo, and Ray Barretto.

He moves between timbales, congas, and bongos while singing salsa standards with an expressive style. Mojica is joined by a lively, accomplished group of musicians for a dance-focused performance featuring salsa, bachata, merengue, and more.
