McLean Project for the Arts | Women Artists of the DMV
McLean Project for the Arts presents *Women Artists of the DMV*, described as the first broad survey devoted to female visual artists from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Curated by Lenny Campello, the exhibition is part of a coordinated regional presentation involving 18 major art spaces.
The project is led by the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center and supported through the Alper Initiative. Participating venues are presenting the exhibition on staggered schedules beginning in September 2025, with individual installations running for approximately six to 12 weeks.
