Romantic Masterworks: Mendelssohn, Schubert and Brahms

National Chamber Ensemble’s 20th Anniversary Season opens with an evening of Romantic-era music by Schubert, Mendelssohn, and Brahms. Acclaimed soprano Karin Paludan joins the ensemble for a program combining chamber music and vocal selections that explore the beauty, passion, and elegance of the Romantic period.

The concert features Schubert’s spellbinding “Shepherd on a Rock,” Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio in D minor, and Brahms’ dramatic Piano Quartet in G minor.
