CEREMONY
A concert of three hardcore and punk acts takes over the Black Cat on Sunday, October 4, headlined by the ever-evolving California band Ceremony. Known for shifting from abrasive hardcore to moody post-punk over their two-decade career, Ceremony brings its seventh album, *Tell Me Your Dream*, to the stage — a ferocious collection that channels anarcho-punk influences like Discharge and Crass into ten songs of searing breadth. The band’s current lineup features vocalist Ross Farrar, guitarist-keyboardist Anthony Anzaldo, guitarist Andy Nelson, bassist Justin Davis, and drummer Jake Casarotti. Joining them are POISON RUÏN and DRY SOCKET, rounding out an evening of politically charged, high-energy punk.
