USA at 250

USA at 250 is an art exhibit at Del Ray Artisans Gallery running from June 5 through June 28, 2026, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. The exhibition challenges local artists to capture the spirit of the nation—its past, present, or future—through works that focus on the positive aspects of American landscapes, people, history, creativity, resilience, or other elements that shape the American experience. Visitors are invited to see how area artists have chosen to interpret “USA at 250.” The show is curated by TJ Feeley and Karen Feeley, who also presents a separate photo album titled “The Many Faces of Washington.” An opening reception will be held on Friday, June 5 from 7 to 9 pm, offering a chance to meet the curators and exhibiting artists, with refreshments supported by a donation from MCD Mateos McDonald’s.

When: June 5–28, 2026, during regular gallery hours: Thursday 12–6 pm, Friday 12–9 pm, Saturday 12–6 pm, and Sunday 12–6 pm (hours differ in July).
Opening Reception: Friday, June 5, 2026, from 7 to 9 pm.
Tickets: Free and open to the public; no ticket required. You may set a reminder through Eventbrite.

Note: A separate series of creative workshops and programs (Junk Journaling, Mirror & Clay Mosaic, Social Media for Artists, Bead & Wire Jewelry, Persian Mulberry Sweets, STEAM-tastic Lego Cars, Del Ray Urban Sketchers, Playing with Resin, Life Drawing, Nature Journaling Club) takes place at the same venue during June but is not part of the USA at 250 exhibit.
