Reyna Grande — Migrant Heart: Essays About Things I Can't Forget - with Marie Arana — at Union Market

Reyna Grande will present her new essay collection *Migrant Heart* in conversation with Marie Arana at Politics and Prose at Union Market. The book is an ambitious memoir-in-essays that examines the hidden costs of the American Dream and the complex, ongoing work of healing after migration. Grande, known for her National Book Critics Circle Award–finalist memoir *The Distance Between Us*, turns her gaze inward to confront questions of identity, language, and survival. She will be joined by Marie Arana, a prizewinning author, former editor of *Book World* at the Washington Post, and inaugural Literary Director of the Library of Congress. This event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
