The Theatre Lab: Chicago: Teen Edition
The Theatre Lab presents *Chicago: Teen Edition* at Atlas Performing Arts Center, a production of the legendary John Kander and Fred Ebb musical with Bob Fosse's iconic choreography, adapted for teen performers. The story follows chorus girl Roxie Hart as she navigates the scandalous, celebrity-obsessed world of 1920s Chicago, where murder and fame intertwine. This sharp, darkly clever show brings the classic's razor-edged energy to the stage, culminating from The Theatre Lab's Musical Theatre Institute for Teens (MTIT), a four-week intensive training program where participants rehearse a full musical under the guidance of the area's most esteemed directors. For over 30 years, The Theatre Lab has provided award-winning theatre education as the largest independent drama school in Washington, DC.
