The Nutcracker & Cinderella

The National Symphony Orchestra presents a festive program built around two beloved fairy-tale ballets. Tchaikovsky’s *The Nutcracker Suite* evokes Clara, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and an enchanted Christmas Eve celebration, while Prokofiev’s *Cinderella Suite* brings playful melodies, comic mischief, and magical transformations to the concert stage. Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21 provides the program’s centerpiece, including its celebrated, haunting slow movement.

Marie Jacquot conducts in her NSO debut, with Jorge Federico Osorio as piano soloist. The concert is presented as a holiday experience suitable for the whole family.
