Making Meaning in the Modern World
Making Meaning in the Modern World brings New York Times bestselling authors Kelly Corrigan and Jennifer Wallace together for an exploration of creativity, connection, and the human need to feel that our lives matter. Drawing on Corrigan’s writing about making and creativity and Wallace’s research on the science of mattering, the event considers how people can build meaningful, flourishing lives amid overwhelm and disconnection.
The program includes an individual talk from each author, followed by an onstage conversation with local educators. Corrigan is the author of *The Middle Place* and *Tell Me More*, while Wallace wrote *Never Enough* and *Mattering*. The event is supported by the Walton Family Foundation.
