Comedy at Lincoln's Cottage

The October edition of the Two Faces Comedy Series brings The Washington Roast to President Lincoln’s Cottage for a political-brawling comedy show. Historical presidents take center stage and trade insults, turning partisan politics and America’s hyper-polarized climate into a nonpartisan night of laughter.

The show takes place at Abraham Lincoln’s former retreat, an historic site and museum in Petworth where Lincoln lived and worked for more than a quarter of his presidency. The Cottage’s history—including Lincoln’s visits with wounded soldiers and self-emancipated people and his development of the Emancipation Proclamation—provides the setting for this live comedy program.
