Benjie Porecki - Hammond B-3 Week
Benjie Porecki brings the soulful sound of the Hammond B-3 organ to Blues Alley during Hammond B-3 Organ Week. Joined by drummer Mark Prince and electric bassist Michael Bowie, Porecki’s trio explores jazz, blues, funk, and gospel-inspired music through deep grooves, fiery improvisation, and the influence of Hammond B-3 pioneers including Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, Jimmy McGriff, Billy Preston, and The Meters.
Porecki is known for his work on B-3 organ, piano, and guitar, combining jazz, blues, funk, country, reggae, and R&B. Inspired by artists such as Ray Charles and Herbie Hancock, he has released six solo albums and worked with Carlos Santana, Chaka Khan, and Patti LaBelle. His current project, “All that Matters,” continues his exploration of new musical territory.

Seating: Seating is first come at the door. On Mondays through Saturdays, doors open at 6:00 PM for the first show and 8:45 PM for the second show.
Ticket policy: Tickets are final sale, nonrefundable, and nontransferable.
Performance policy: Photography and recording are not permitted. Guests are asked to keep conversation to a minimum during the performance.
