Jackie Evans
Jackie Evans brings her piano-centered singer/songwriter style to Songbyrd Music House with support from Nashville-based artist Elli Rowe. Evans, a New York musician who began releasing music under her own name only recently, draws comparisons to Carole King, Billy Joel, and Sara Bareilles. Her live experience includes piano-bar performances, cruise ships, theme parks, and theater, as well as collaborations with Vulfpeck and tour support for Lake Street Dive and Jensen McRae.
Rowe’s Americana-influenced songwriting combines personal storytelling, intricate guitar playing, and atmospheric melodies. Raised around bluegrass festivals in Minnesota, she now performs from Nashville and writes about the experiences and reflections of early adulthood. She reached the Top 20 on American Idol Season 20 and has attracted attention for songs including “Fentanyl & Wedding Rings” and “Same Sea,” along with praise from artists such as Tate McRae and Kelsea Ballerini.
