Michael Winograd and The Honorable Mentshn

Celebrate the second night of Hanukkah with klezmer clarinetist Michael Winograd and his band, The Honorable Mentshn, at The Barns at Wolf Trap. The evening combines lively music with traditional Jewish dancing led by instructor Judy Sweet, interactive dreidel games, and other activities designed for the whole family.

Winograd, recognized as a leading klezmer clarinetist, brings the musical traditions of the Eastern European Jewish diaspora into a contemporary setting, with music that is energetic, spirited, and poignant. The program also commemorates America’s 250th anniversary and is presented in partnership with the National Council for the Traditional Arts, George Mason University’s Institute for Immigration Research, and Pozez JCC of Northern Virginia.
