The Sofia Goodman Trio

The Sofia Goodman Trio brings award-winning jazz drummer and composer Sofia Goodman to the Kennedy Center's Millennium Stage for a free performance of “Butterfly Blood,” an original work that traces the lives of butterflies through various phases. Through this nature-inspired composition, Goodman and her trio challenge stereotypes and offer metaphors that respond to the current climate.
