AMELIA DAY

Amelia Day brings her folk-pop storytelling and multi-instrumental prowess to Songbyrd Music House on August 1, 2026, in a show that celebrates her upcoming EP _EGO TRIP_. Hailing from Sumner, Washington, Day blends heartfelt lyricism with powerhouse vocals that draw comparisons to Brandi Carlile, Norah Jones, and Alanis Morissette. She is proficient on guitar, keys, bass, and drums, often switching instruments mid-set or stepping away to sing and dance with a handheld mic. Her songs explore coming of age, queerness, betrayal, and the temptations of fame, as exemplified by the lead single “Lady Los Angeles.” The evening’s support comes from Miss Moon, a genre-bending funk band formed at the University of Maryland, whose current lineup combines keys, bass, and drums into a danceable indie-rock-jazz-folk blend. The band has released several recent singles, including “See Me Now,” “Ghosts,” and “Lucid.”
