Studio Gallery Art Sale

Sat, Aug 29, 2026 – Sun, Aug 30, 2026at 12:00 PM
2108 R Street Northwest, Washington, DC
Free

Over the last weekend of August 2026, Studio Gallery hosts its first “Summer Sendoff Art Sale,” a two-day event featuring a wide-ranging selection of works by member artists. The sale is framed as a chance to clear out studio storage and offer fresh pieces, with artwork drawn “from the closet” as well as new contributions from some of Washington, DC’s most respected artists, all of whom are Studio Gallery members.

The sale takes place both inside the gallery and outdoors, weather permitting, with extra display space on the adjacent patio shared with Annabelle Restaurant and in partnership with Spirits and Spice. Visitors can browse in a relaxed setting that includes light refreshments and music. Most artworks are priced to be highly affordable, generally in the $100 range, while large-scale works and elaborately framed pieces are priced higher. Admission to the event is free, though purchased artwork carries its own price.

When: Saturday, August 29, 2026, and Sunday, August 30, 2026.

Showtimes: The sale runs from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM on both days.

Venue: Studio Gallery, 2108 R Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20008, United States.

Admission: Free entry; no ticket is required.

Artwork pricing: Most pieces are priced around $100, with larger works and ornately framed pieces priced higher.

Highlights: Art will be displayed inside the gallery and on the adjacent patio, weather permitting; the event also features light refreshments and music. The patio space is shared with Annabelle Restaurant, with Spirits and Spice also involved in the event.

Flyer: The event flyer was designed by Sydni Diehl.

Note: This is Studio Gallery’s first “Summer Sendoff Art Sale,” offering both older works from artists’ closets and new contributions from DC-based Studio Gallery members.
