Fall M.F.A. Dance Thesis Concert
The Fall M.F.A. Dance Thesis Concert is the culminating performance project for two Master of Fine Arts candidates from the University of Maryland School of Theatre, Dance, and Performance Studies. For this production, Emilia Bruno and Connor Voss are given the opportunity to choreograph, produce, and perform their own original works, presenting the final thesis projects that mark the completion of their MFA journeys. The concert showcases their individual creative voices through new dance pieces developed over the course of their graduate studies, and it serves as a public presentation of the artistic and scholarly work they have undertaken in the program.
The concert takes place in the Dance Theatre at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center, with reserved seating. Three performances are scheduled across the run, and tickets are priced differently for general admission versus students and youth, with a booking fee added to regular tickets.
