Rainao: Marcriá tour
RaiNao, the Puerto Rican artist, saxophonist, and composer, brings her Marcriá tour to Union Stage for a free show in Washington, DC. Born and raised in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan, RaiNao grew up immersed in music thanks to her father, a passionate musician, and later studied saxophone at the Escuela Libre de Música. Her experimental sound blends hyperpop, reggaeton, R&B, guajira, and other genres, and she has become one of Puerto Rico’s most exciting rising stars, with millions of monthly Spotify listeners.
Her 2025 breakthrough included her first Billboard No. 1 alongside Bad Bunny for “PERFUMITO NUEVO,” which the duo debuted on Saturday Night Live. RaiNao also walked the runway at Willy Chavarria’s show during Paris Fashion Week, received a Premios Juventud nomination in the Girl Power category, and performed throughout Bad Bunny’s entire residency in Puerto Rico. In 2026, she started the year with two Premio Lo Nuestro nominations for Breakthrough Female Artist and Collaboration of the Year – Urban. Her 2024 album CAPICÚ drew extensive critical praise and appeared on year-end lists from Rolling Stone, NPR, Rolling Stone en Español, and Latina. She has collaborated with artists including Bad Bunny, Tainy, Villano Antillano, Álvaro Díaz, De la Ghetto, and Mora. In 2024 she played her largest headlining show to date in San Juan in front of 4,000 fans and was the only Latina invited to perform at the first concert ever held at the Louvre in Paris.
