Möya Afroelectronic Experience

Möya Afroelectronic Experience returns to Transmission for a late-night Afro-electronic dance event in Washington, DC. The music moves through Afro House, Afro Tech, Amapiano, and percussion-led sounds, with an emphasis on community, movement, and discovering your people on the dance floor. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to experience the full lineup.

The performers include international Afro House artist ÜDORĀ, MÖYA resident MILU, Washington-based DJ and multidisciplinary artist Mambo Rankin, and Baltimore DJ, producer, and vocalist Solure. ÜDORĀ’s hypnotic sets combine soulful rhythms, original productions, and unreleased edits; Black Coffee has played ÜDORĀ’s track “Konderea” internationally. MILU has performed with artists including Nitefreak, Enoo Napa, Bun Xapa, Major League DJz, Kususa, Zulu Mageba, TenOceans, and NAAK, and recently appeared at ADE in Amsterdam.

Mambo Rankin draws on Afro-Caribbean heritage and describes his genre-blending approach as AfroDisco, blending Afro House and Afro Tech with a focus on connection and collective dance. Solure, founder of We Are Soul Tribe, brings a sound spanning Afro House, House, and Amapiano.
