Baltimore Symphony Orchestra: Garrick Ohlsson Plays Brahms

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra opens its 2026–27 season at The Clarice with a program centered on the grandeur and emotional intensity of Romantic-era music. Music Director Jonathon Heyward conducts, with acclaimed pianist Garrick Ohlsson as soloist in Johannes Brahms’ monumental Piano Concerto No. 2.

The program also features Emilie Mayer’s expansive *Faust* Overture and Antonín Dvořák’s haunting symphonic poem *The Golden Spinning Wheel*. Ohlsson is renowned for his technical command and interpretations of Romantic repertoire.
