Washingtonian’s 2026 Best of Washington

Washingtonian magazine presents its annual Best of Washington event, a celebration of the region’s top people, places, and things as voted by readers. The evening brings together attendees for a curated experience of food, drink, and entertainment at The Anthem on the Southwest Waterfront. The event is strictly 21 and older, with a government-issued photo ID required for entry.

When: Thursday, July 23, 2026.

Showtimes: Doors open for Early Access ticket holders at 6:00 PM, and for General Admission ticket holders at 7:00 PM.

Tickets: Two tiers are offered: Early Access (entry at 6:00 PM) and General Admission (entry at 7:00 PM). All tickets are nonrefundable.

Ages: This event is 21+. No guests under 21 will be permitted. A valid government-issued photo ID is required at the door; no refunds will be issued for failure to provide proper ID.

Venue: The Anthem, 901 Wharf St SW, Washington, DC 20024.
