Bridget McGuire
Bridget McGuire presents *Ballet Flats for Dinner*, a stand-up and storytelling show about growing up with intrusive thoughts related to harm OCD. With conversational, self-deprecating humor, she explores anxiety, family, dating, and her eventual decision to seek help at age 38. The story includes experiences ranging from believing she was pregnant at 11 to worrying at 25 that she had accidentally killed a friend’s boyfriend.
McGuire is a New York-based storyteller and comedian known for her Chicago-accented humor. She co-produces the stand-up show All That Good Stuff, has opened for Pete Lee, Michael Palascak, Janet Williams, and Maggie Hughes DePalo, and has written for *Women’s Health*, *Prevention*, and *Oprah Daily*.
