AOIFE O’DONOVAN – Solo Acoustic

Aoife O’Donovan brings a special solo acoustic performance to the Birchmere, inviting the audience to help shape the setlist. Fans can submit requests for songs from her own catalog as well as covers, making the evening a participatory showcase of her acclaimed songwriting and distinctive vocals.

A Grammy Award-winning artist, O’Donovan has released critically praised solo albums, including *In the Magic Hour*, and has worked extensively across folk, roots, classical, and jazz. She is a founding member of Crooked Still, one-third of the Grammy-winning group I’m With Her alongside Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarosz, and a featured vocalist and songwriter on *The Goat Rodeo Sessions* with Yo-Yo Ma, Stuart Duncan, Edgar Meyer, and Chris Thile. Her other work includes performances with symphony orchestras, collaborations with Dave Douglas, writing for Alison Krauss, and regular appearances on “Live From Here” and “A Prairie Home Companion.”
