Dave Hause & The Mermaid bring a renewed punk-rock charge to Hause’s melodic, lyrically driven songwriting. The project grew from Hause’s desire to reconnect with the plugged-in energy of his early musical roots after several Americana-leaning solo records and stripped-back tours. Their album, *…And The Mermaid*, captures the band’s full sound across 10 songs and marks the first time this version of The Mermaid recorded together.

Hause, the former frontman of Philadelphia punk band The Loved Ones, is joined by his brother Tim Hause on guitar and vocals, Luke Preston on bass, Mark Masefield on keyboards, and Kevin Conroy on drums. Baltimore punk band Over Our Eyes supports, blending an early-1990s punk influence with a melodic but aggressive approach.
