Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis is a solo exhibition by Bran Cherie exploring change as a universal part of human experience. Using the butterfly as a symbolic framework rather than depicting it literally, Cherie examines growth, uncertainty, connection, loss, identity, healing, resilience, and renewal. The exhibition follows the butterfly’s four life stages as a metaphor for the different emotional and psychological phases of personal transformation.
Curated by Alex Green of Activated Productions, the exhibition connects natural cycles with questions of emotional well-being and the ways people move through an ever-changing life. The works are organized into four phases, ranging from isolation and construction to courage, surrender, belonging, abundance, and empathy.
