Kate Hosford - You and I are Stars and Night

Kate Hosford presents *You and I Are Stars and Night*, a children’s storytime followed by an art activity. The picture book follows a grown-up and child whose ordinary bathtime becomes a magical journey through an underwater world and beyond, as they encounter mermaids, explore an enchanted forest, fly with birds, and eventually return home for bedtime reading and cuddling. The story celebrates the loving, playful, and imaginative bond between caregiver and child.

Hosford is an award-winning author of children’s books and poetry collections. She studied at Amherst College and earned an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and she lives in Brooklyn with her family.
