About the Author: Dr. Paul L. Kimmel is a Clinical Professor of Medicine Emeritus at George Washington University, a Master of the American College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Physicians. He was educated at Yale College and NYU School of Medicine, received the Belding H. Scribner Memorial Award in 2019, and has authored over 300 peer-reviewed papers and edited several medical texts.
