MICO brings his emotionally intense alt-pop-rock to 9:30 Club on the *Running From A Feeling Tour*, with Will Linley supporting. His sound combines hook-driven 2000s and 2010s pop-punk nostalgia with hyperpop and alternative influences.

The 23-year-old Filipino-Canadian artist, whose real name is Miguel Veloso, first built an audience through Discord performances, TikTok, and independently released music. After breakout releases and sold-out headline tours in North America and Europe, he is touring behind his debut Columbia Records album, *When the lights turn on*. Written amid constant travel, personal upheaval, and rapid personal growth, the album explores identity, nostalgia, heartbreak, online image versus reality, and the process of outgrowing former homes and relationships. Its songs move between hyperpop intensity, soaring pop hooks, and energetic alternative rock.
