Élisabeth Pion, winner of both the Gold Laureate and Audience Choice awards at the 2025 Honens International Piano Competition in Canada, makes her Washington Performing Arts debut in this Hayes Piano Series recital. The 30-year-old pianist, known for her technical precision, expressive range, and deep engagement with her repertoire, has performed internationally as a recitalist, chamber musician, and guest artist.

Her program centers on Schubert songs arranged for piano by Liszt, alongside works by Brahms, Cécile Chaminade, and Frédéric Chopin. A brief post-concert conversation with Pion follows the performance.
